DISCUSSION: Ginkgo Biloba 50:1 is a well-standardized, precision Ginkgo extract, meeting European pharmacopoeia standards for content of key phytochemicals, and containing not more than 5 ppm of ginkgolic acids. Ginkgo is widely used in Europe for the maintenance of healthy cognitive function, due to its support for cerebrovascular microcirculation and antioxidant properties. However, Ginkgo has many drug interactions, and for many people Vinpocetine will therefore be a better choice for these purposes.
